Ever
since I was a small child, I had pets. I
love animals! Hello, my name is Bobbie and
I am looking forward to meeting with you
to learn how I can best meet the needs of
your furry family members.
I grew up in Baltimore, Maryland with parakeets,
fish, and even a spider monkey for a short
period of time. So Mom decided to buy us
a poodle instead “Poopsie”.
She was named after a song in the Broadway
Show “Music Man”. I know it’s
corny, but she was the greatest.
As time went on, my family moved to New
York and we got another toy poodle named
“Jete”. She was named after
a ballet step meaning little jump. Since
Jete’ loved to jump, and being a dancer
myself, I felt that was the perfect name
for her. I actually have a degree in Dance
Theater and Choreography. “Jete’”
was my best friend, and when I was old enough
to go on my own, Jete’ went with me.
I took this little cute puppy everywhere.
I got married and moved to Connecticut,
took a corporate job working in telecommunications
and added a black toy poodle named “Coco”
to the group. Coco had three puppies in
my one and only litter. All of them were
different colors, ivory, black and peach,
which was amazing. As you can see, I was
a poodle person for a while.
I lived in Stamford, Connecticut for 17
years with my husband and my son.
After my marriage fell apart, I adopted
my second son and flew to Russia to bring
him home. That was quite an adventure! The
next thing I knew, I was moving to Boca
Raton, FL with a new company & to be
close to my parents. Within one month, I
bought a home in Parkland and fell in love
with the area.
Now it’s ten years later & I’m
still living in Parkland. During these ten
years, I have raised my two boys; have a
bichon named “Molly”, a longed
haired calico cat named “Wiskers”,
a wonderful life partner & a stepdaughter.
Life has really changed. I left corporate
life five years ago to take care of my family.
Dogs Go Walking seems to be a fit for me.
I’m able to combine my nurturing caring
side with my love for pets & the passion
for helping people. I’m looking forward
to meeting you & the furry members of
your family!
