Hi there! My name is Nydia. If you need dog walking or pet sitting in the Kendall or South Miami area, I promise to provide loving care for your animals. My passion for animals developed while growing up on a sugar cane farm in Nicaragua. We had all types of farm animals and I’d run around chasing chickens and piglets all day but the horses intrigued me the most.
About eighteen years ago, my family and I moved to Miami. At first we had a small apartment that did not allow pets. I just could not live that way so I settled for all kinds of small, confined animals like hamsters, fish, birds, snakes, and frogs. As soon as we moved, my mother gave me my first dog and he has been the love of my life ever since. I also have two cats and two parakeets.

For three years, I went to school and worked for a print media company. The job offered great career opportunities and I met a lot of wonderful people. I also learned a lot about myself during that time and realized I’d spent too much time thinking about money-making careers and well-paying companies that I had no passion for. My philosophy in life changed to, “Do what you love and the rest will follow.”

Soon after, I joined the DogsGoWalking team as a pet sitter and dog walker. This is where my heart is.
