Hi,
my name is Gina. I became a pet sitter and
dog walker with DogsGoWalking so that I
can make animals happy every day. I love
playing with dogs and watching their goofy
faces as they get ‘dog happy’
rolling in the grass, jumping, and chasing
their tails. You just have to smile.
My family always had dogs in small town
New Jersey where I grew up. However, I moved
to Florida fifteen years ago to escape the
harsh winters. At first I didn’t have
the time or stability for a pet. No matter
how much I missed the hairballs, slobber,
and puppy dog eyes, it was only fair to
the dog to wait until I had a home with
a fenced yard.
In 2000, both dreams came true. First,
the house, then a German Shepherd named
Dutch. He hypnotized me with his puppy dog
eyes and I found myself in the back seat
of my fiancee’s car holding this 14-week-old
hairy, slobbering, adorable beast. Dutch
fits in well here with our three parrots.
My house sometimes feels like a zoo but
always in a good way. I’ve found that
Dutch is actually a great stress-buster.
Disillusioned with the 9 to 5 grind behind
a desk, I decided I had to find work doing
something I truly enjoyed. That’s
when I met Monika at DogsGoWalking. What
could be better than spending time outside
in nature with animals?
The knowledge that I’m helping someone
else care for their best friend makes it
all the more fulfilling. If you need quality
