Hi,
my name is Dee and I look forward to meeting
you and your cherished pets.
I was born in California and lived briefly
in Colorado and New York before my free-spirited
parents settled in Las Vegas, where I grew
up, an only child. Considering my upbringing,
it’s really no wonder that I’m
a free spirit myself. We always had pets
and my fondest childhood memories are those
of happy times spent with our Lhasa Apsos,
Labradors, Poodles, and mutts. Always there,
always loving, they were my faithful companions
in the absence of brothers and sisters.
As I matured, Vegas offered many job opportunities.
I worked as an aerobics instructor and veterinarian’s
assistant and also served drinks in the
gaming industry, worked for an engineering
firm, and danced in major production shows
on the strip. But I grew tired of working
10 and 12 hour days and answering to a boss.
Work took over my life and at the end of
the day, there was no time for me. As free
spirits often do, I woke up one day and
asked myself, “Is this all there is?”
Ironically, it was my memories that moved
me forward. The commercials say, “What
happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas.”
But I didn’t. I left it all and followed
a dream to Florida. I love the beach and
I’ve always loved dogs. When I discovered
DogsGoWalking, those two loves came together
to give me a career I enjoy waking up to
every day. Pet sitting and dog walking provide
the fulfillment I looked for, but never
found, in any other job.
As a proud pet parent of two Shih Tzus,
I understand that your pets are members
of your family. Trusting their welfare to
another person is not easy. If you need
a loving pet sitter or dog walker in the
Hillsboro Beach, Lighthouse Point, or Pompano
Beach area, rest assured I will care for
your ‘babies’ as if they were
my own. Please arrange an appointment so
