| Hello
and thanks for taking the time to check out
DogsGoWalking.com.
Your pet must be very proud to have such
a smart and caring owner! Or do our pets
own us?
I grew up with the dogs and cats my older
brother always brought home, and being the
youngest child, our pets comforted me when
I felt a little left out of the 'grown-up
activities' in our home.
Also at an early age, I fell madly in love
with the thought of travel through books.
Once older and undecided about my future
studies I opted to work on
cruise ships to see as much of our world
as I could. For 4 years I saw places more
beautiful then books could ever describe
while I worked as a casino dealer on regal
floating resorts at sea.
Then I moved to Fiji, to live in the city
of Lautoka with my then fiancée when
he accepted a job as a director with a small
cruise line. The problem was, not being
a citizen of this small South Pacific Island
I couldn't work. I studied political science
and history at the University of the South
Pacific but it wasn't enough. The answer
to what would mainly occupy my very happy
three years there came quickly. ANIMALS!!!
Any stray we saw in the street that was
too small or sick to care of themselves,
cat or dog, it lived with us until it was
healthy, fixed and ready for a loving home
so I can return the comfort back that animals
had provided me. At one time there were
5 dogs and 2 cats living in my home. But
that wasn't all, I was also pet sitting,
dog walking, animal taxiing and assisting
for the local vet and SPCA.
There were so many animals we cared for
and among those was Bon Bon whom you have
seen me pictured with. She was the sickest,
smallest, and most helpless thing I ever
had to care for and when the time came to
leave Fiji it was only natural that I couldn't
give her up. She has been a spoiled American
pet now for over 7 years and she loves the
U.S.!
Which brings us to where we are now, in
the beautiful city of Fort Lauderdale. And
for me, my new career in dog walking and
pet sitting is a dream come true. The Fijian
dog, Bon Bon is very proud of the person
she owns. Isn't she lucky?
So please feel free to call or email me
if you think I can enhance your relationship
with your beloved pet in any way!
